Our Mission

At Evergreen Paws Rescue, we are committed to providing a safe and loving environment for every animal in our care. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find forever homes for animals in need.

Foster to Adopt

Our foster to adopt program helps us move animals who have been in our care for over 6 weeks. These animals do not need to be raised/cared for in a kennel. When you foster to adopt you get to see if the animal is the correct fit for you and also get a discounted or sponsored (FREE) fee for the pet should you choose to keep him/her. Foster to adopt is a minimum of 2 weeks and maximum of 4 weeks.

Reduced Stress for Animals: Foster-to-adopt placements provide a more comfortable environment for animals, minimizing the stress associated with traditional shelter settings.

Opportunity to Assess Compatibility: This program allows you to observe the animal's unique personality and behaviors, ensuring a better match for your household.

Enhanced Socialization: Fostering helps improve social skills and overall behavior in our puppies, preparing them for their future homes.

Early Adoption for Puppies: By fostering puppies that are not yet spayed or neutered, you contribute to their growth and development while forming a strong bond before final adoption.

Priority Adoption Benefits: Foster-to-adopt participants receive first preference for the animal’s adoption, along with reduced or waived adoption fees.
